I think this is the right part of the forums. Although I must admit I rarely stray from the R&M forums. Anyways here it goes.

I have played RCT1 + The added attractions pack for a while now. I recently however bought RCT2 and the Wacky worlds expansion pack. I am having problems gaining money in my parks due to me only charging for the admit and stalls. Is there a way to charge for the rides also? When I try to choose the price on a ride it won't let me due to it being bleached out.

I find that when I get over a certain number of rides my ride running costs take more than my £40 entrance fee and shops/Stalls make... any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Some of the levels only allow you to charge for rides, and others only allow you to charge entrance fee and on your stalls.

I guess to make some money from not charging for rides you'll have to increase your entrance fee as you build rides (start at £10 then add something like £5 per ride), and charge more on your stalls. Then when you can only charge for rides, round the excitement rating of the ride down to the nearest whole number, and use that (eg: a rollercoaster has a rating of 7.34, you charge £7 for it).

Hope that helps.

This thread brings back memories of playing RCT1 for hours on end back in the day. Ahh.

I always rounded it to the first decimal place. 7.34 would be £7.30.

Every penny's a prisoner heh.

I just chagred £5 for rollercoasters, £4 for thrill rides, between 1-3 for the rest. I made loads of money
