Phantom power

I just bought a condenser mic, and I thought my BOSS BR-8 had a phantom power supply, but turns out it doesn't. Now I need to buy one and I'm not sure about any of it.

Will that work or do I need to buy a mixer with phantom power?
And if that would work does anyone have any experience with that thing?

Yes. It's easy. Plug your mic into the box, plug the box into whatever you're recording into.
