Call of Duty 2 is a fairly good 1st-person shooter, but I can't think of any others at the moment.

for the story i played into it for maybe an hour and got nothing out of it

but it's too short, it only took me a single day :-/

Oh and if you don't get Farcry: Instincts, you suck, because it's amazing, but still too short, a single days gaming, still good on live, though
