I need some more games for my GBA SP. So far, I've got:
Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4
Top Gear Rally
Max Payne
Spongebob the Movie
I think I'm interested in getting Wario Land 4, CT Special Forces 2, and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong.
I've already played all the Marios and the Donkey Kongs on SNES so I won't be getting those. I loved Max Payne and Yoshi's Island, and dislike RPGs. Any suggestions for new games that are pretty good? Also there was supposed to be a GTA III for GBA, whatever happened to that?

Castlevania (any of the Castlevania games for GBA are gold), Zelda (same with Castlevania, sort of like an RPG, though), the Sonic Advance games, Advance Wars (it's a strategy RPG, but it's also an excellent game), Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, the Wario Ware games.
That should get you started :)
I don't remember GTA III ever being announced for the GBA. I doubt Rockstar would do something like that, but I could be mistaken.

i have grand theft auto for gba. its worth it but a tad stuttery in places.
try:
zelda-a link to the past
zelda-minish cap
advance wars 2 (essential)
wario ware
pokemon emerald
fire emblem
fire emblem-sacred stones
astro boy (essential)
gta
f-zero maximum velocity
metroid zero mission
metroid fusion
tony hawks 2/3/4
street fighter 2/3 alpha
chu chu rocket
final fight one
castlevania
gunstar heroes
ninja cop
golden sun 1+2
boktai
i know they are for original gameboy/color but also try metal gear solid and zelda links awakening.
zelda links awakening is an absolute classic.

Haven't played through much of it yet, but Tales of Phantasia would be a good one.

He said he didn't want role-playing games.
metroid zero mission
metroid fusion
castlevania
astro boy (essential)
gunstar heroes
zelda-a link to the past
zelda-minish cap
I second these suggestions.
Regarding Zelda, I consider it to be more of an adventure game than a role-playing game.

there was a game called Dodgeball Advance or something along those lines.
it was the most fun I've ever had with a gameboy of any kind.

wario ware for sure. that game rules. the metroids aswell. warioland 4 is a good game but i found it to be rather short. i wouldnt consider advance wars and fire emblem really to be rgs theyre almost more like rts games. advanced wars was way better than fire emblem.

I know you said no RPGs, but you'd be a fool to ignore Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. If you ask me, it's the best game on the GBA period. :D

I know you said no RPGs
Yep I did because I really can't stand them.
I've been away for a little bit, thanks for the suggestions. Metroid looks pretty cool. I think GTA III was supposed to come to GBA by some rumor or another but it never did.
Any good FPS shooters out there? I hear Doom II is pretty good, though based on the screenshots at gamespot.com, the first Doom looks a lot better to me.
Anyone play Duke Nukem Advance? James Bond Everything or Nothing?

you could try Ecks vs Sever 2. i played the first one and it was pretty impressive but a bit samey level wise. the second one looked better design wise. could try find that cheap. duke nukem advance is supposed to be ok and the doom games, but the pinacle of fps on a handheld is metroid hunters on ds.
could call on mario and luigi saga. even if you hate rpgs, you will actually laugh out loud and love that game. im hardly an rpg or a strategy buff but games such as advance wars, fire emblem and mario luigi keep me entertained for hours. so dont turn down rpgs on gba, you will be pleasantly surprised at the overall fun you can have.

As a rule of them FPS's on handhelds usually suck, and the GBA is no different. I honestly can't think of a single good one.

I don't know, I was bored to tears by Paper Mario on N64. Same with Final Fantasy 1 and 2, and 10 on PS2. Pokemon on GBC was alright, but I had a bigger sense of achievement with that game since I was collecting things.
The FPSes look alright if you can ignore the muddy graphics. I think I might enjoy Doom.
I'm real disappointed they won't come out with a pack that includes all the Marios and all the Donkey Kongs, like Super Mario Allstars for the SNES. Had all three Marios plus Super Mario World. Now that was an excellent game.

Advance Wars was fun if you're into strategy type war games.
