I like "Hello Bastards" way more than "Jersey's Best Dancers." This band is okay, overall. I don't like them as much as most people do. Besides, I'll only listen to Hello Bastards.

Nah, I'd say they fit fine in Punk, Hardcore or Pop-Punk. Although they definatly have more influences from the latter two genres. Anyways, band rules. I'm giong to see them in October and I can't wait.

Ok, you got me there. But what I was pointing out to the guy is he is ignorant of what emo is and was being an arrogant **** about it.

How was he being ignorant? All he said was this is the closest thing to emo he likes, which means he just doesnt care for the genre. Not everyone has to like a band from every genre. Flogging Molly, The Tossers and The Pogues are the closest I'll ever get to liking Irish-folk music. Are they an irish-folk band, no.. I just don't care for the genre, but those bands have some influence from irish-folk music.

Actually, Lifetime is know for making it ok to write about love and hurt in hardcore songs. The term emo accuratly describes the lyrical content of a lot of their songs.

Turnpike Gates exactly described the situation between me, an ex I was sleeping with, and her boyfriend. I was supposed to audition as a singer with that song while the **** between me and her was going down. Not that that relates to anything.
