To be honest, they are one of the few great nu metal bands. The singer on Redefine had a kick *** Zakk Wylde-ish tone to his vocals.

Unreal was much better than Halo
Fun Fact #254: System of a Down used to be called Soil back in 1995.

I used to like Halo about 2 years ago, it's the only song I ever heard by them except when I saw them at Download this year, but I'm not a fan anymore.

I'm listening to "Jaded" now. The old singer was wayyyyy better. This is kind of generic/boring.

meh in this case i rather take more non screaming hard rock vocals then screamign vocals cause this singer has protnentail and he doesnt have to scream to have it be hard rock

Saw Soil at Download, put in a good performance, but they were pretty average overall. Plus their music wasnt that interesting.

One of my favorite bands, I bought Scars at Gamestop for like $2, the best deal i've gotten for an awesome CD.

They had another single off that album, I think it was "Breaking Me Down". Other than those three songs, I can identify a Soil song, but I don't know any more by name.
