Though July has been a tumultuous month and most people weren't reviewing at a standard pace due to numerous hurdles, we should still do this competition for newsletter filler/ego reasons.
Here are the rules, read them carefully or your nomination will not count.
- Nominate anyone who has reviewed 3+ albums during the month of July. You can nominate as many people as you like, but no self-noms. Write a sentence or two supporting your nominations, and link to their 3 best reviews.
- Winner will receive a large avatar (about 100x100) and a praising write up in the newsletter.
- Journals, soundoffs and lists do not count toward review total.
Nominations will close Tuesday or Wednesday, Voting will be finished by Friday or Saturday.
Good luck.

Most difficult month thus far in trying to figure out someone to nominate imo. But Vague-, er, the Jungler did an excellent job at reviewing some things that would have possibly gone untouched longer, and gave the first suitable review of Eraser, which is oh so important.

Iluvatar did a great job offering a different opinion on such albums as Dark Side of the Moon and Led Zeppelin I. He backed up his opinions well; whereas most people would have just ranted aimlessly about why their opinion is right and everyone else is wrong.

I for than likely will nominate more than two person this month, but the first people to come to mind for me are: Bassist201. Despite the troubled times, Bassist managed to submit quite a large amount of reviews, all of which were quite good.

Iluvatar also had a month worth recognition, despite not reviewing as much as he usually does. Highlights: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/album.php?reviewid=8327

In addition to everyone who was already mentioned:
metallicaman8
He wrote eleven reviews this month, all of extremely high quality. He probably would've reviewed even more had he not left the country.

RandyFromPennywise had some pretty awesome reviews this month. Aside from having 2 of his reviews being featured reviews back to back. He writes smart and is good with detail.

I'm gonna nominate Cygnus Inter Anates for his last three reviews. They have all been very well written, hilarious and well thought out. Easily some of my favorite Eliminator/Something Vague/Holland, 1945 reviews ever. I just wish he didn't have so many accounts

Why thank you. Tis an honor to be nominated. I'm just depressed that my review of Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast" was never nominated or anything. I loved that one.
(this is SoH11 for the record. Waiting for my account to be merged and blah blah blah)
