Cool Edit Pro 2.1 question

Ok my friend has an idea for a song and hes got cool edit pro 2.1 same as me but when he sends it to me it doesnt play when it loads it makes me do all this crap on this page and then it loads it but when it plays nothing comes out.

how do you send it to someone and it actually work?

They can't just send you the project file. They have to send you the audio for every track. That way when they open the file, they can find all the audio files and they will be loaded into the project so it will play. The easiest way is to just either export the entire song and send them the mp3, or put all the audio tracks and the audio file into a .zip folder.
