Top 50 Rock/Metal songs of all time?

Have we ever done this in this forum? I was just over at the pop-punk forum and I saw they'd just completed one of these and I think it would be even more interesting here considering rock/metal is much wider as far as the bands and songs you could include go.

Would anyone like to take on the task of organising one of these? I don't have the time myself but would find it really cool.

Also it wouldn't necesserally have to be 50 songs, it could be 25 songs for ease.

Really? What was the outcome? I remember the albums one from a while back just wasn't sure if there'd been a songs one.

Also, is there any way to view all the big polls that have gone on here over time, and the winners of them? It seems like they all drop off into obscurity, which is a shame.
