i was looking around for a new practice pad and I came around this one. Anybody have any experience with them?
Is it worth the price ($25) or is there a better one I should check out?

I've seen it on here before i think, if i remember right, it doesn't rebound the sticks as much, so you'll be able to get faster. But that's about the only upside I remember

If it dosen't rebound the sticks, don't get it. Learning to use the rebound is one of the most important parts of developing technique. Why would you practice without it?

For practicing and developing technique, yes rebound is extremely important. When wanting to increase (is it speed, I can't remember) it's good to have almost no rebound, like a pillow.

I already have pretty good technique, I just need a new pad that will help strengthen my wrist.

You can increase speed just as well without the pillow though. What that does is helps you build muscle endurance and speed to an extent because you have to do all the work. That's all well and good, but the issue with buying a practice pad without rebound is that a practice pad is usually what you use to develop technique, if you always practice on something with little rebound, you'll never learn to control it. If you REALLY feel the need to work your muscles up, then use a pillow, it'll work just as well as a 25$ practice pad.

you want rebound for speed. the trick to any technique, wrist or finger, is making the stick do all the work.
if your getting no rebound that means your having to lift and drop the stick. you should only be applying pressure on the downstroke this should be practiced primarily and pillow practise should be secondary to strengthen your wrist.

pretty good technique doesnt do you jack. get amazing technique then worry about everything else.
someone ****ty at everything pales in comparison to someone able to do one thing perfectly.

Moon Gel "WORKOUT" Pad. It's in the name there guys, doesn't take much brains to see that one...
TS - Grab yourself a nice X-Pad (my choice), RealFeel or VicFirth. Any rubber pad will do, those are the big doggies.

Just use a pillow or play on a practise pad for a long time.
Drumming is 90% control 10% muscle so I wouldn't pay money for a workout pad.
