Recently, I've noticed that there are certain types of sticks that just mess with me. The most notable example is the yellow Dave Weckl Evolution sticks-they make my hands fatigued and cramped really quickly, and they are the only sticks that ever give me the "hot spots" that lead to blisters. Other than that they feel fine-they felt fine enough afew years ago to warrent buying 6 pairs at once, but then I realized what they did so they just lie around now.
Anyone else got any similar problems with sticks?

Sometimes promark sticks will make my muscles sore within minutes, whereas with Vic Firths (haven't tried any other brands other than the two) I can play for hours without any soreness at all.

I havn't found a pair of sticks to cure my finger-itching.
It's not a literal itching, but if I don't move my fingers every few seconds it gets to feeling really uncomfortable...[snowboarding with gloves is so hard T-T]...it kind of sucks, because often while I'm playing I'll virtually let go of my sticks so my fingers can move.
I hate it =/

Your fingers move while drumming anyways...

All sticks try to jump out of my hands, usually at the most inopportune moments.

Not nearly enough.
I have spaz-friggin'-tastic fingers, mans.

I have a pair of 5bs that just will NOT stop with the verbal abuse. I had to stop playing the other day after it repeatedly called my mother a whore using a Sean Connery accent.

haha...nice reply Nosnip. Would love to drum with those sticks of yours, but in answering the questions, im not a big fan of heavy sticks. I have a pair of SD2's from playing in a marching band, but i only used them because i had to. I play with them sometimes now, but i always love to go back to my thinner sticks. Although lately i have been playing a lot with my head hunters jazz sticks. Light sticks with a bit of width to them. Ill stick to 7's though
