i got my idea from another thread in the guitar forum. anyway it goes like this:
i want to mod my big muff (russian) and most likely any other distortion i ever get to have a stability and compression control (like the Zvex fuzz factory). i'm not schematic or electronically savvy at all. i don't even know what UF means or how it applies. what i'm looking for is a simple diagram (like one would make on microsoft paint and the like) of lines representing wires and such. i also need to know what i need to do this, and types of places that have the materials.

i also really need to know if it's even possible:p. and any other tips are appreciated.

Ain't possible.
If you want to add those controls to big muff, you'd have to basically build it from scratch and be able to design those changes in it.

But after thinking it a bit, I came up a couple interesting mods to it.
Too bad I have a self build big muff which is made to be easily moddable. And tools and components to mod it. And too much time.

Damn.

It will be cheaper in labour and money to just buy a compression or w/e you want.

Well, making it true bypass would be useful.

is there any way one could add and expression pedal in place of one of your average stompboxes controls
