i didn't really see a specific forum for this in the drum section. i'm trying to tab "no it isn't" by plus 44, but i'm having a lot of trouble. does anyone have this song tabbed or know where i can find it? (only travis' part..). thanks a bunch.

yeah. i've been working at it for a few days now. i have a small bit of it figured out, but that's about all i can get. google has nothing, as i've been randomly searching for a few weeks now..

what's the best way to go about tabbing? should i listen to it through certain speakers, up the bass or treble, or what?

usually i don't have trouble tabbing something, but it seems like after the first 16th it's all a big mess. the guitar seems to drown out the drums a bit as well. i don't know.

I just downloaded it and took a listen. He's not really playing steady rhythms, which is probably what your used to and why it sounds like a mush. With experience you'll be able to pick up on stuff like that quicker. So, what I suggest, is take it REALLY slow. Do one measure at a time, and listen to it over and over again. Figure it out in your head, so you can sing it, and then write it out, then play it and see if it's right. You will get better at this quickly, and pretty soon songs like that will be easy to transcribe. Just keep working at it.

A lot of internet tabs are a jumble, and by what Caleb said, the song's already confusing enough, ja?

On some CD players [like, the portable kind], if you only put the headphones in 1/2 way, it'll kill most of the vocals/guitars and leave you with a more prominent, easy-to-hear drum sound.
