badass II=best bridge to exist

I'm not a big fan of P's but i like the black scratchplate on white finish, kind of going for a steve harris look there

It would be ten times sexier with a maple neck, in my opinion. But a black pickguard on a white bass is damn good looking, good choice there.

Black on white looks good a lot. Especially black pickgaurd on a white 'Ray, that looks amazing.

actually the black pearloid on white looks like ****, no offence to the guy who owns it but it makes me want to puke...black pearl looks good on black...like on the variax, that's sexy as hell

That looks well nice I like it! If that was vintage white it would be even better.
And then you have to have the maple fretboard!

i'm partial to tort on white- just as long as either it's already aged or at least is able to age. but black on white is amazing too. just not white on white or white on black. too simple.

btw TS, how did you get your strat to look like that? (aged + worn). or is it a vintage?

Pinhead13

The strat is an SX copy....that I trashed...

I noticed that. Why'd you get a stop tail bridge?

i thought that one kids p was a dark blue pearloid?

that normal black on white is probably the second most popular color combination, what qualifies this bass for the sexiest?

I prefer mine.

nice. but not as nice as the p-bass i'll get....

once it's mine, it'll pwn everyone's p-bass on MX (unless they have a vintage one, then i'll submit). :D

what other upgrades will you do to it? it looks like you've already taken care of the pups by putting some Seymore Duncan Basslines Quarterpounders in it and put a Badass II bridge on. will you replace the tuners?

tort on white sr5 is about the hottest color combo

Criss Frantic

I prefer classic burst with black pickguard on SR5.

And I agree that a maple board would make TS's P look a LOT sexier.

tort on off-white (fender calls it like, "arctic white" or "olympic white")
is the man

wooooo

Vintage white (which is leaning on cream) + Tort is also incredible.

haha, thats basically what i was referring to, i was just thinking of a fender P i saw once, but yeah, an off white/eggshell/whatever is the best with tort. yes indeed.

Not the sexiest pbass ever but not too bad, get a tort pickgaurd and then repost it for sexiest Pbass.

Hmmmm, it's good but Vintage white, white PG and a maple fretboard is what gets me going.

TS: Impossible. P-basses cannot be sexy. This thread is all a trick. Silly threadstarter, Fender's for n00bs!

Am I the only one who thinks a hardware change would make it look infinitely better?

It was a present from my mom.

I might keep trying other pickups. I might replace my E string tuning machine.

If i'm going to start complaining, it would be the bridge. maybe if you got a mono-rail II bridge that wasn't satin-nickel, I would like your bass alot more, or maybe string-thru...

P-basses just don't do it for me at all really. Although a bleached blonde p-bass looks the sexiest out of them! Ash body, black scratchplate, maple fretboard..
