You;ll have to do some routing for the floyd. What colour do you plan on painting it? Because if you want to fill in the nexk pup, depending what you do it wouldnt look good in a transparent colour. How do you plan on filling in the neck pup?

You should be fine then, as long as you do a GOOD bondo job so its perfectly smooth. I would use a piece of wood first a bit of a filler though, cut out a piece of w/e type of wood, glue it in and then cover it in bondo.

wtf is bondo? use wood filler:

to be honest, all those mods are really not worth it. if you want a floyd, you're looking at 200 for the floyd. ~100 for the routing. You also might forget that you need a locking nut, which would cost a lot to get installed. it's not worth it for all those mods. i recommend you sell your current SG, and buy a new guitar.

no i dont have an sg, i found a place that sells, bodies, and necks, and they will fill it for me, and cut out the bridge to fit a floyd rose, i just need to know if it would be way cheaper, to buy everything seperate, or just buy a giibson, cuz i have a router http://www.warmoth.com/

bondo works just fine, i had to use it on the back of my guitar neck, when my stupid a$$ friend, sanded it all the way down, and the rod fell out, and it worked just fine as a filler, and its way cheaper than wood filler
