i decided to upgrade, to some strap locks,i figured it wouldnt hurt anything, it would just improve, i was very wrong, the screws always back out, and im scared if i swing it it will just come out, i lost the felt that goes between the lock, and the guitar, do u think that will make a difrrence, or should i just get it looked at

Superglue a matchstick in the hole and screw the screw in.
That will tighten it up.

if it's possible, get a wider screw
otherwise do the match/toothpick thing

i fixed some dudes guitar like that. i put a piece of hardwood in there and glued it in. once it was dry i just screwed the thing in. the hole was crooked thuogh so that is the reason for entirely plugging up the hole besides the fact that i felt safer with it not coming out.

get a dowel rod the size of the screw hole, glue it in and put the screw back in...after redrilling a hole a bit smaller the the screw is....
that should tighten her up and no more worries
