So I had this funny expiriences yesterday. Story time kids, gather around :cool:

My parents live on a soccer field, so basically when we do stuff at my parents place, we have a ****load of space to do things. My parents are on holiday, so the place is empty (as my brother was out last night). So I called some friends and we had BBQ.

We sit in the garden, eat and stuff, and around 11pm, someone calls the name of my bro from the road. So we shout up "He's not in!". And we hear something like "Oh. Yeah, just wanted to tell that we called the fire department". And I'm like "WTF?", look up, and see that the parking lot in front of the site is bright as hell. We're all like "What's going on?" All seemed normal, no abnormal smells and stuff, no strange sounds, so we go up the small driveway to the gate and get out. And what do we see? One of the waste paper containers on the parking lot is all ablaze! =O

Some folks gather, and we chit chat about arson. It's by far not the first (and probably not the last) time that this happened. As more people come along, a friend starts "Dude, do you think the guy they put out there is save and got into the hospital in time?" And I reply "Yeah, I hope, I mean, he looked quite chared". And we had to start laughing so hard. =) Anyways, the fumes got us a headache, so we got back to drinking and eating.

Later on we think "Hey, let's get down to the grass field", and we went down to just walk a bit around, watch stars and stuff like that. Except for me, I wanted to drive later on home, all were quite a bit drunk. So my friends suddenly start to scream, and shout crazy stuff. Like "JoJo, your peen0r smells!" or "Markus, no, not in there! How often do I have to tell you: NOT IN THE OUTHOLE!!!" :lol: It was darn funny, as nearby some students walked along the street and they were quite irritated. Basically we ran around chasing each other, screaming like maniacs. There was some stuff around to water the grass, but we could not get it running to take a midnight refreshment. And we also ditched the iitial idea of "running around the soccer field naked". Though it was funny that the girls present would have tagged along. So Markus is like "I'm gonna hang on the top of the goal, and pee down from there", and I say "Yeah, easy, you can get up there quite fast". I set on to jump up, but did not see that there was a parallel iron bar on the height of my shoulders. I get down to jump up, swing my arms back, jump and smash my forearms with full force into the bar. That hurt like a bitch. Still, I laughed so hard. We all did. =)

So shortly afterwards, we get back to the house (but not before I put a discovered tooth pick through my tunnels :lol: ) I wanted to turn the music back up, as I brought my computer as jukebox. I reach for the mouse, and right on it rests a fat naked slug . O.o I screamed up "Ugh, WTF?" as I had not the slightest clue what I just reached into. I mean, around 1am it's not really that bright to see stuff. Anyways, we listened to a bit of Morrissey and discussed music stuff to relax to. Shortly after we packed our stuff and were on the road.

Good times though, it was really good fun and a perfect night with friends. :thumb:

Start of with the simple -

Apple Schnapps. As it says on the tin, its also gorgeous.

Slightly more Complicated -

The Cocksucking Cowboy (aka the Brokeback Mountain) - a Half shot of Baileys floating on top of a half shot of Peach Schnapps. Again, amazing taste, but you feel so gay after drinking one (or explaining to the barman how to make one...then ordering 9)

And the Final one

The Emeral Dragon - In a pint glass, pour the following -

2 Shots of Vodka
1 Red Bull
1 Blue WKD/Smirnoff/Girly Drink

It should turn an awesome green colour, and taste as nice as it looks! If you want, I'll upload a picture of my freind with a 2 pint glass full of it!

I get some pretty good stuff for $150 an ounce, which is a surprisingly low price. Normal prices are about $170-180, then you know you're getting high quality stuff when it breaks the $200 mark.

A half sells fro $35-40 in my high school. I may be off by a bit on the once price, but it is deffently less than $150 and it is BC hydro.

Are me and Akira the only ones these days that DONT smoke pot? I think it's just such a waste of money in my eyes tbh. And if I were to do it, I'd have to do it unsocially.. like in the woods with a friend or two. Or probably on my own.. So word never got back to my parents. When I would much rather spend that money on going out to a pub with a bunch of friends and drinking good beer and having a merry old time and meeting new people :) Not saying you can't have both, but when it's money restrictions you may not be able to afford both. And what's sad is it seems most of my friends smoke pot now :-/ But I don't feel any peer pressure to join in. I can happily sit with friends and them all be smoking away and I don't have the need to :D

Although yesterday I did steal a cigarette off my dad when I was bored in the house on my own. I was insanely bored and fancied a bit of a headrush just for the sake so I thought I'd get some "baccy rush".


Anyway, I had a bit of a great day today! I got a massive lie in in the morning, had a family BBQ at lunch on our amazing new gas bbq which is just massive. I don't normally approve of gas bbqs but it was really nice! Oh, I also finally got my wireless connection set up in my house! And got my wireless router for stupidly cheap and it set up in about 2 minutes which is great! I was expecting tons of hassle. Then I went to work and one of my best friends, Phil was in (he works there too) so I had a good chat with him and caught up with him about his week in Cyprus on holiday! And I was on drive thru for the rest of the night. There was a giant queue and cars were waiting in their spot for a good 15 minutes. I got chatting to the people in the car that was stuck at my booth window.. it was a woman and her daughter, who was my age and incredibly hot!! So I had a good chat with them about allsorts and told them about my music course and bass and stuff and the daughter kept giving me rather enticing looks.. which was great! But then they had to go. They were like "well, we'd love to stay and chat but we're holding up the already angry queue behind us!" So we thanked eachother for the good conversation, etc. and they went! I hope they come into work again!

And I just realised, I'm treating the casual like a blog!... weird...


Oh yeah, tomorrow Phil (the guy mentioned above) who is playing guitar and vox in the band we're getting started is coming over for a BBQ and a good jam/songwriting session! Cant wait!

I watched a Buddy Guy concert on TV not to lonf ago and it felt like his eyes were cutting through my Tv. I can only imagine how a live show must be.

Buddy Guy is everything I aspire to be. He loves himself, he loves EVERYONE else, he loves his music, he loves the blues, and he loves everything about the universe. The biggest part of being a good musician particuarly in the market Im trying to get into (jazz and blues) you really have to be a better person than your really capable of.

Anyone else see SNL last night? Tony Levin was playing bass for the band doing the show. He was fantastic! He was using his funk fingers (which I always thought seemed like a stupid idea). Its very rare that I see a bassist that locks in the with kick drum as well as he did. I'm gonna download some King Crimson now.

Edit: And for their second song he used one of those crazy upright basses that are really small. I couldn't hear the bass that well that time though because I couldn't turn it up.

Hokay, with the recent conversion of my brother becoming "straight-edge", I have become extremely annoyed at people's obsessions with labels.

First, why the heck does everyone feel the need to brand themself something!? "Oh, that guys Oi", "He doesn't listen to that cause he's sXe", "Look at how she dresses, shes so boho". ARGH! Why can't everyone just be themselves? My God, what a concept! You mean actually not following stereotypical fashion/ lifestyle statements?

For instance, guess what, I'M NOT RASTA! Just because I have knotted up hair doesn't mean I belong to a certain religious movement. People who know me know how much I hate seeing people wear rasta colors, especially when I know THEY HAVE KNOW IDEA WHAT IT IS!! WTF are you doing wearing the colors of Ethiopia, a country you most likely have know idea about their situation. Instead of spending $27 on a shirt that says "REGGAE" in red yellow and green, spend that money to sponsor a child in Uganda. The money could help him/ her for almost a year! Sorry to go offtopic, but it had to be said.

Also, whats with this whole surge in becoming straighedge/ vegetarian or vegan. Its pissing me off so much to see how these people (mostly girls) are supposedly becoming vegan overnight, just because its the cool thing to do. 90f them have no interest in how the animals are being treated, they just want the label. YOU GUYS ARE POSERS! I swear I had a girl come up to me and say "I heard you were a vegetarian. I'm a vegan. I said "cool, how long" "Oh i started yesterday." "Really, how long were you a vegetarian before that?" "I wasn't." Guess what hun. YOU JUST HAVEN'T EATEN MEAT IN A DAY! She stopped veganism like a week later. ANd now we have these "sXe!!!" kids (like my brother) just trying so hard to label themselves. Why? Why not just be sober and not a slut. WHy do you need X's in every possible place! Is it so you feel prouder knowing that you have to show people that you have character instead of letting your actions tell them?

Okay, about me. Many people label me hippie. Hmmm, so my hair determines my label? But wait, I don't wear patchouli oil or have only hemp clothing. Sure, many of my personal aspects on life could be called hippie-ish, but that doesn't mean that I go around with a big label on me. For the record, I own no tie-dye shirts.

So heres a mini rant for everything else. Punk kids, you don't NEED to wear tight clothes. Lesbians, you don't NEED to be ugly. Straightedge kids, you don't NEED to have X's on your hands. Rastafarians/ Poserfarians, you don't NEED to have red yellow and green everything. SToners, you don't NEED to have weed memorabilia everywhere. Metalheads, you don't NEED to have long hair. Preps, you don't NEED to onlly shop at Abercrombie and Express. Bandos, you don't NEED to be nerdy and interbreed with eachother. Christians, you don't NEED to be goody two shoes and not date until your 25.
