I have a esp f-104 with soapbox pickups. My friends fender bass' neck cracked. it has p+j config pickups. is it possible to put the p+j into my esp? or no?

You probably could, but

-I dont see the point
-Would leave some nasty gaps

well this is just curiosity more then anything :) but...about the gaps, would there be a way to fill them?

You could fill them, but then you'd have to refinish.
