active/passive pups

ok, so i got this dano wif built in effects for 90 bucks at a pawn shop... and ive got some plans for it....

I want to (if its possible) to have two jacks (because it already has two; one for fx, and one for bypass of teh fx), and have one jack make it be active and one jack basically bypass the battery and make it passive.

1.) Is this even possible?
2.) Are there any schematics for this floating around?

active pickups or active preamp? You would not be able to bypass a battery on the pickups because then you couldn't use the pickups. If you are talking about an active preamp, that can be done.
