I got a call from my buddy who works at a music shop far away from my town..He knows that im in the market for a new ride and he said that they ordered a brand new never used 21" Paiste signature mellow silver ride for someone and the guy never came to buy it.

He said he could probably sell it to me for $230-250 (normally there around $360). My question is that is this ride worth the 2 hour car ride to this shop or should I let it go?

I'd say it would be. I mean the gas will probably be $10 I drove 100 miles and my car was still on full. Go for it.

well my Buick gets about 20 miles to a gallon...Most of the drive is on a thruway, so maybe i'l get 25 miles to a gallon. So roughly $20 for gas from there to back.. so save about $150 total? hmmm

Mine gets I'd say 30mpg it just stays on full for a while. I've gone 110 miles and it's on 3 quarters. But I mean, saving $150, that's pretty good.

I'd take a look at it..... Shipping it in the mail would prob be cheaper than gas or no? I don't know enough about shipping. Plus I wouldnt trust a cymbal being shipped :(. If he's ur buddy tell him to bring it by ur house just invite him over for dinner then he pays for gas. And so you dont lose $ on the dinner make kraft dinner or something.

Its all up to you if you think its worth it. How bad do you really want the cymbal? Personally I would go ahead and go though, but thats just cause I enjoy long car rides..

EDIT:Well nvm now....
