here's the same backtrack that BB used, but mine doesn't have that cool rapper. Couldn't figure out where he got that, but it's fun anyway

yeah, I like to play with my own melodies, but I just recently found music4drums.net and its full of cool stuff... and when I heard BB playing over it, I decided to also, just for fun to compare different approaches.

yeah, it's really fun to see people's approaches to a certain piece of music.
I want to do another backtrack competition.

Wonderful site, and you've got an awesome idea. We could have some sort of a poll, and pick the most popular song for each experience group...it's also a possibility that everyone would play to the same back track. It's definately a better chance to show off some groove skills as opposed to in a drum solo atmosphere.

Josiah ran one about a two years ago and it was pretty cool, but I had crappy recording equipment and I sucked back then. I've gotten much better.

It is fun though.

Moogoo this sounds great! Also, I could run a backing track comp. I would use another FLS tune. Perhaps 'That's True' by Reegz?

I like some of those Techno tunes at music4drums.net. But i'm up for whatever... the more of a surprise the track is, the better the competition will be.
If Jim wants to give us a sticky for it or something once we announce it, that would be great.

Moogoogaipan... that sounds amazing! Good ending, and the groove through the song is great. Thanks for the link to the website, too!
