hi hat clutch

i play on a ludwig accent custom elite kit. When using the hats, the clutch fails, and when I release the pedal the clutch is barely holding the top hat, only an inch higher than where it started, and does not close completely

what are some good hi hat clutches i can buy for under 40$ american?

lol.. buy a whole new hihat stand.. maybe more money, but guaranteed less trouble in the near future

^^ He's right..Get an Iron Cobra Hi hat stand..That clutch never comes loose

Yeah, get a new hi-hat stand. That's what I needed to do.

clutches tend to be around 12 bucks ish they really are cheap

I was messing w/a DW 9000...HOLY COW...I have a Pacific entry level. The DW made it look like tin foil...ha....

I have a stock mapex one on my kit, its not bad but it doesn't compare to the higher end ones.

I have a pdp two legged stand, and i gotta say, it is REALLY sturdy. Only $50 too.
