1. Putfile.com could work. (http://www.putfile.com/)

2. Can videos not be transfered from one program to another?

Well, if it's that much trouble don't worry about it then, thanks anyways!

Can I just say something, Joey Jordison isn't a bad drummer, his fans suck though... It just gets old having people go "I'm better than Joey Jordison, he sucks" when he is a much better drummer than over half of the D & P community. There I'm done.

I think chad has accomplished making another amazing looking kit. And that joey jordinson kit, i thought it was bad enough when they made a snare.

it's a product called Ceelite, which is essentially a bunch of mini mini LED's in a rollable, flexable, plyable, cuttable, glueable sheet. TMD customs was the first to offer drums wrapped in Ceelite - pearl bought the rights from TMD.

Look at the users on PDF about 90% f them have joey, jordison or slipknot in their name.

Its a kit for n00b's who are **** at drums and think buying a rip off kit will make them a good drummer.

Chad's kit is officially awesome though.

The picture above shows the Prototype kit which has been disigned and developed for Chad Smith of the Chilli peppers. Everyone who visyed the stand looked above for lighting affects, but in truth all the magic takes place within the shell!

http://www.pearleurope.com/mediafiles/images/uploaded/707_kit_chad_p4_540.jpg
The light sensors within the shell can be triggered so that when you strike the drum it light's up or it can be set to pulse…which ever rocks your world.
Once this has been road tested we may see them being available worldwide!!!!
Check out the Chilli Peppers World tour to see it in action.

I hate to be the negative nancy....

I'm just sayin', if Joey's kit lit up, you'd be trashing it.

Not that I really like JJ or that I dislike Chad Smith,.

And the chad smith idea, well as funny as it sounds, just why?

Yeah this is what Pete n I were saying, it's a real wicket kit.

Won't be long until everyone will know about this, soon everyone will have a kit which can flash, all singing all dancing.

Pearl gets WAY to much hype from just about everyone.

Drum Monkey
07-02-2006, 06:04 PM
The thing with Pearl is it's the name. People spend $1,000 on an Export because of the pretty finish and the Pearl on the bass drum and badges, that's the problem. Their high end stuff is great, and the reason why everyone got excited about this kit is because like me they've never seen it before.

Also, who cares which drummer's kit it is? I like Jordison's kit, perfect for what he plays!

Theres a custom company that offers this for their drums.

Parradiddle Pete
07-03-2006, 02:07 AM
They're called TMD customs.

For the record, I saw the chili peppers last night. The kit sounded amazing and was very good to look at. I think they were having problems with it, the first floor tom wasn't lighting up at some points. During the slower songs or the ones without much drums (JF's cover of 'how deep is your love?') the kit was set to just be lit up, and the rest of the stage dark. It was a very very cool effect. I love the ceelite stuff, its amazing.

There's a video off, I think it was the TMD site, with a guy playing a blue snare.

Man, he's got some nice grooves. I just wanted to watch him play, screw the snare.

Well actually, my favourite tops are Tesco Value. £1.75 s/sleeve £4.00 l/sleeve. Bargain! Also you can just put your own designs on them or leave them blank! Although I do own "labels" mainly "animal". But "T K Max" is an amazing shop for people who refuse to pay stupid prices!......me!

Chad's kit has been tastefully done, as in its not blindingly bright or flashy, its just a nice clean colour change. I like it.

So how does that thing get the power to light up? I don't see any wires or anything.. Is there like a battery pack on the drums? Or maybe it's magic.

i think of seen pics of things that resemble triggers on the bottoms of the drums that set the lights off, but i'm not 100% sure that's how they do it
