I've heard they're a lot like the speed king.

Crap.

You cant adjust spring tension or footboard angle.

Its nothing like a speedking because speedkings used compression springs where as that uses a flexible heel plate or some such bull.

yes you can. just in a special, very difficult way.

they are amazing.. the hardcore beaters are great too, but you'll have to buy a patch for your bass batter head, coz otherwise it'll make a huge put in the head..

yea, that's the only real problem with the beater. i've heard you can adjust how hard the beater, and that's just really cool

According to the review in modern drummer, they are really good, but they just take alot of getting used to.

yea, but modern drummer is probably on the payroll of every drum company so that they(MD) get more money for giving good reviews

I totally forgot what these were called, i was going to ask how they felt and what your opinions were, but if i didn't have a picture or a name it's useless.

And Phil, what if it had direct drive? Then would you like it?

They for sure look cool but for me it may not be versatile.

I tried the hat stand, and it felt extremely cheap and stiff.

And BTW, this isnt a new Pedal, it came out last year.

I know that, I just have never played it and I have never seen anything on it.

Now, I'm not saying this works all the time , but [I]generally if you don't hear the praises sung about something and see a whole bunch of cheap copies made by other brands, especially after a year, it's not the greatest new technological advancement.

But like I said. This isn't for like..every little thing that comes by. It's a large generalization.
