So in a few years I wanna enroll in a drum school. Out of these 2 options which would be the wiser? I live in texas but my sister lives in NYC so neither is a problem to move to.

go to denton to unt, one of the best music programs, and since you live in the state it will be cheaper than going out of state.

Visit both see what each school has to offer. Sit in on classes, meet people, talk with alumni if possible.

Do you know if UNT is hard to get into?

Extremely......better have your **** down. You'll likely need to play mallets and timpani too.

Giving up so soon? Why not practice your butt off for three years, get really good, and go to UNT?

Thats a possiblity...

If I get into UNT ill have to get a double major, because my parents dont want me to do drumming only...
