Hey Everyone!

Haven't been on here for a whie so i thought I should show my face again. Music side of my life has been quiet for a while up till now. So its time to get back on the board and start chatting.

Right to my main point! I have been offered a HARTKE RIG! It consists of a HARTKE 700 watt bass amplifier with a HARKTE 8x10 XL Series Cabinet. Both of these come in Flight cases too.

Obviously the Rig is Second hand! It was also owned by somebody before my friend. And it has been gigged.
My friend is from Canada but is over here on tour right now but unfortunatly can't take the rig back with him to Canada so has offered me it at this price. He is a very trust worthy guy and knows his stuff. Pretty much like a brother to me! So I trust him 100%.

Price He wants for it is 500 british pounds.

What do you guys think, Is it a good deal or Not, I think it is but it would be nice to get your opinions.

Thanks for your help.

Peace
Mogli

I think thats a very good deal, seeing as either one costs about 500 quid on its own! (i think anyway)

It may be quite hard to transport though!

Was it bought in England? If not you might have to get a transformer or something

Hey d-basser, am sure i'll love the rig its just getting the money for it! Lol! I might swap him one of my basses and some money for it if he will take it! Depends! Will be working something out when they come to Scotland for their tour dates! http://www.zeroscapemusic.com. I can't wait to try it out! Piss the neighbours right off! I already have the 350watt Hartke Head and VX410 cabinet! So am gonna have a nice set-up! Huge rig for bigger gigs and smaller rig for smaller gigs! Happy Happy Joy Joy! Its good to know people! I have a few bands in the workd right now! The band i spoke to you about, nothing came of that yet! 3 other bands i have things that might happen with. But not sure yet! Hows ur band going dude?

Peace
Mogli

Cool, Lucky bugger! I would love to visit Peru. I now live in Glasgow as i think i've mentioned to you before. Moving into a rented house soon, so i have more space and a garden for my new dog. Has a sun porch to which will be wicked for sitting in a writing some new music and enjoying the gd weather we have been having recently for once. Also it will have a spare room. Which i have decided will be my bass room and studio. haha. (Sure the girlfriend won't be best pleased, lol) Thats where the amp is going too. lol.
Hope all wrks out for band and you can keep it going when you move to glasgow.
Peace!

hmmm.... it is a good deal... however 8x10s are a bitch to move. maybe just buy the head and then get a smaller cab to use with it? even a 6x10 would be easier to move. also, do you really need an 8x10?

he already has a 4x10 so for smaller stuff he is sorted the 8x10 cud be for wen he needs that extra noise

oh sorry. i must've missed that.....

*goes back to re-read whole thread again*

ah! there it is. nevermind. go for it then. that's a good price for a nice'n'big rig. also, Hartke (especially thier alu cone cabs) = da shiz.

Also, is it just me, or have their been alot of threads about people getting or wanting to get Hartke rigs lately (a.k.a. past two weeks)?

buy it, and if you're not satisfied with it, there are plenty of people who will buy it from you if you want
