My Modulus Got Repossesed

Oh i'm getting it back for sure. I just started helping out at a church for $7 an hour with no tax. I've made $57 in 2 days, plus I teach bass lessons. I'm guessing it''ll be 2 months till i can get it back.

I've actually been thinking of selling it and getting like a Pedulla Rapture of something.

I love it. I actually don't like new Warwicks. But mine is a 97, so the neck is waaaay thinner. Its super fat sounding, and the mwah is great. If i ever get another fretless, it'll be an older Warwick. Truly amazing in my opinion.

I cannot agree with that satement more. I had half of the money, and I was supoosed to get a job., so I figured I could pay it off within a few months. Then the job fell through, so I had no job and I owed a lot of money.

ABout 2200 new. Mine is an 03 model. I believe that Modulus increased their list prices about 800 like a year ago, so I could be wrong about price. If I sell it, Ill sell for about 1400 approx.

I wish you could pay god money and you'd buy bass skills, like a speed increaser for your hand. That would be sick......(No guess where my allowance would be going...)

There are a few things you must remember. The $300 also includes interest, unfortunately, the interest doesn't come out of the $400 you still owe. All in all, only about $250 tops will go towards the balance of $400. Also, even though they reposessed it, they still may charge you interest on it, thus making the total you have to pay to get it back more than $300. These are things you have to look in to.

If you default on it, that will go in to your credit history and make it much more difficult to get another loan, plus it stays in your credit history for 7 years.

Word of advise, never fall behind on payments, it will come back to bite you in the ***.

You may not want to let him, but he has every right to, and if you don't comply, then it goes to court and they will make you comply or you end up in jail.

That wasn't directed to Naveed. It was directed to Saberpunk, who's post I quoted. I know he didn't get his bass reposessed, but he did say "yeah, seriously, i wouldent let some guy just come into my house and take my bass". Just trying to humble him a bit and say that some people may say that, but they really don't have any choice in the matter.


People have to remember that when buying with credit, you don't really own anything until that final payment is made. The creditor can come and reposess something even if it was supposed to be your last payment. If certain conditions are met (like missed payments), it's well within the creditors right to reposess the merchandise, and if you don't give it to them, then they can take you to court and you can face possible jail time.
