View Full Version : Ads On Sputnik
Hey guys,
Hate to do this, but without Mxtabs the site cannot pay for itself. I'm placing banner ads on sputnik. Sorry, I don't want them either.

I'm actually all for this if it helps with site stability and getting more bandwith in any way. I really don't mind ads in all honesty. As long as their those cool flash ads where you can beat Ahnold up the ladder.

That's no problem, Jeremy. Ads don't bother me a bit on MX. I welcome them if they bring in revenue. Times change. Whoever said everything on the internet should be free was fooling themselves. Whatever keeps the boat afloat.

I think to say if they have to be there, there will be no objections. Are these the ads that you get money by how many times they're clicked, or just a set revenue comes in?

mxtabs is closed again? Sad :( Yeah, I'm all for ads on sputnik. You should consider those linkies to amazon (or another site) where you can purchase the album through the site. If for no other reason, it'd make pricing albums easier.

You could also sell Sputnik's name to a corporation, I think Microsoft Music would be a great improvement.

I'm going to sell my username on ebay.
Now who would pay money for that? Especially your username.

I'd pay for Stronger Than Mensa, but not Spat Out Plath.

I meant as advertising space :( You know, cos people read my reviews for consumer advice as well as inane rambling.

I'm all for it I suppose, but I wish they were on the bottom of the screen.

:upset: Damn. Now I have to go to those 'other' tab sites. :(
It's okay on the ads thing though, J. No one should have a problem with it.

Sucks that the tabs are gone. I don't mind the advertisements though.
