iTunes plugins

Does anyone know of a plugin for iTunes which logs your most played artists? I've looked all over for something like this. I have a last.fm but that thing is so innacurrate and half the **** I play doesn't even show up.

The only thing I can think of is Audioscrobbler and that's really inacurrate for me also.

try making a smart playlist...

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get a list of artists out of a smart playlist. To my knowledge they can only deal with individual songs?

Last.fm never worked for me with iTunes, but it works fine with Winamp. But if you need to use iTunes, then you might be out of luck.

itunes works fine for me on updating, try redownloading the plugin and have the last.fm window open, and refresh it everyonce in a while whenever you listen to music

Try this:

File> New Smart Playlist> Playcount is greater than 0> limit to 100 songs selected by artist.

Click "okay".

I don't really use smart playlists so sorry if this doesn't work.

Also get the Jscrob2 plugin. It is under downloads at last.fm at the scrobble(?) your ipod section.

Thanks. The smart playlist thing didn't work, it just came up with the first 100 songs that had been played more than once. But Jscrob might be of help.

iTunes is pretty closed up as far as plugins and addons go.. (Apple) I suggest Winamp.

make sure you remove your old plugin.
