So my friend wants some PSP games. I think I put Fastloader on the PSP correctly. And right now downloading a game ISO. What do I do after? Just put the iso in the folder?

I'm into role playing/action-adventure/puzzle/strategy(Iheard command and conquer is on it) that sort of thing. Hook me up with some titles dawg

BTW games I get with it are atv, hockey and mgs acid

you are trying to hack it huh...

i did it in 40 minutes. The information is ALL out there. You might need to downgrade your firmware.

as far as action adventure, untold legends is great for a hack and slash. Socom online is impressive. GTA : LCS is very good as well.

As far as puzzle games go, Lumines is the BEST by far

Double click on the PSP folder and then double click on the Game folder, The ISO's go in there and are loaded through fastloader. If I remember correctly.

I'm not sure if it's legal to say how you do it on these forums; seeing it isn't on PSP forums.

It's real simple though, and you probably need 1.5 firmware.

Downgrading pretty much has no cons anymore; seeing games that require 2.5 & 2.6 can now work on 1.5 :thumb:

I use my PSP for the SNES roms primarily though :smoke:

have they improved the emulator for the SNES games? I always had to mess with the speed and frame rate to get it "work" properly

I don't think so; but it's possible... I havn't checked for updates since I last downloaded it around April.

Some of the games work well though. All the Super Mario's can run with minimal frame rate dips; all the Final Fantasy's work well though so i'm happy :thumb:

Yeah, Devhook is the application that allows you to play any firmware games on 1.5; havn't tried it out yet though.

Matty, I have added your hotmail - you use MSN right?

I'll hook you up with all the stuff you need when you're on next.

Yeah, FF and Chrono Trigger portable is awesome :D

Cool; never played it before.

Are you on MSN now?

EDIT: I can't believe I forgot about this; what firmware version is your PSP? If it is above 2.0; i'm afraid you can't downgrade to 1.5

Although, there are other means of playing ROM's on your PSP if you don't have 1.5 - but i've never used or explored them before.

if you have updated above 2.0, it can't be reverted.

firmware 2.0 can be reverted; but Sony released later firmware patches which cannot be reverted to prevent people from hacking the PSP.

Although, I have heard of an application called Fanjita's Loader, which with aid of the GTA:LCS UMD, allows you to play Rom's on newer firmware.

You may want to look into it.
