I'm looking for a decent laptop that has a big hard drive and will be useful for video editing and not a Mac. Also good for games preferably. I suck at identifying computers so help please?
you cant identify. computers are not something you can give a model number or a name. there is no good laptop that can be suggested and even if there were you dont give enough information. go to the dell site and fill out the options to what you need and can afford or go to a shop.

If you need something for video editing and games, then your not going to find it in laptops unless you want to spend serious money.

Unless you want to wait for a Dual-core notebook, But even so they will be pretty expensive.

There already are dual core laptops, and they aren't expensive (compared to other laptops).

I bought a compaq notebook for video editing and light gaming, it only cost me $1200.
Amd turion 64 2.2ghz
2x 512 ddr ram
80 gig hd (reccently purchased a 250gb external)
ati 128mb radeon xpress 200m
dvd+-rw with light scribe
Honestly I keep this computer so clean it renders faster then the apples at the station I work at. And i'm planning to upgade the ram to 2gb soon. The new duel cores are nice but in all honesty you don't really need to waste the extra couple $100 on it unless your into seriou gaming.

tbh, use a Mac. I have a MacBook Pro and it works perfect for that.
