It's sort of a similar story about love, not neccessarily similar in the sense of the twisted plot that Eternal Sunshine has, but Garden State is a good film to watch.

I hated this film for similar reasons. Not that it confused me but it just seemed like a pointless movie, so I was left confused as to what the point of it was. It seemed to keep building up to something big but it never came. Except Kirsten Dunst realising she had humped Tom Wilkinson's character.

There aren't too many movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which is why I enjoyed this movie so much. You might want to check out Being John Malkovich, though, as it was also written by Charlie Kaufman.

I love this film. It is one of my all time favourite films. If anyone is after something similar I recommend Garden State.
