Hey guys, I've looked all over and the only locking tuners (UK) and all I can find are Sperzels, but as far as I know, they are only for guitars with all the pegs along one side (like strats or RGs).

Can anyone tell me any good lockers for a three-a-side headstock?

Thanks for any help,
Flex

you can get them in sets of 3L/3R.

Ask your local shop, they can probably do somethin for ya.

I just got a set of 3+3 Sperzels today. I planned on putting them in myself, but it's looking like a job for the tech after not being able to get the first one in.

plenty of locking tuners. sperzels, grover and something else. they do them in 3x3 and 6x1 and they do them in black chrome and gold. and there's all sorts of fancy crap.

i don't know too much about this, but john petrucci has sperzels and he plays a musicman, which has an odd 4+2 setup

to do 4-2 you'd need to get a 6-1 and a 3-3 and use 4 from the 6, and 2 from the 3... and sell the 5 -1 you have left on ebay :)

not that he's the one thats puts his tuners on his guitars. im sure musicman just gets bunches upon bunches of individual tuners and puts them on themselves.

One last thing, I'm down to two choices, Schallers or Sperzels.

Does anyone know which are better?

How, may I ask?

I'd like to know of any problems before I shell out £60 for a set.

If they would screw up strings on a fixed bridge, are there any good alternatives?

Cheers.

Seriously, anyone know how/if they screw strings with a fixed bridge?
