Not a common thing to search for on this forum.. But anyhow - seeking a violinist who can do both the 1st and 2nd violin on a tune I've decided to revamp.
Unless luck would have it that the violinist also play either the viola, cello or contrabass(bowed, not plucked) - I'm also in need of either or all these.

(Note that this is an old mix/mastering and my sound quality has got a lot better since I last made this song)
When you've heard it:
As you may notice the midi string ensemble calls for a larger string section, but a quartet should be sufficient in providing the sound needed.
The first guitar solo could call for a violin solo to replace it, so there should be some more fun stuff to take a grasp of other than just putting down a layer.
One thing to note is that the notation I have is based upon guitar tablature, which is then translated into a string section, and then onto notation - so there may be some parts that you will have to use your ear to play proper and some notation that needs a good look at - but it shouldn't be too hard, as all the notes are within a C major scale and there aren't any, in lack of a better word, fast licks.
Minor hiss on the recording is not a problem as I've become fairly good at cleaning this - but being in tempo is very important, 'cause if I can not find a drummer for this song, the drums will be made in Fruity Loops, which means, that the drums are exactly on time. So using a metronome is required.
I really want to make this song as beautiful as it is meant to be - so I hope I get some replies. :)
Can also catch me at jacobbank@hotmail.com - but I check this very very rarely, so be sure to make your mail easy to recognise. (Like Miss You Project or something like that..)
Apologize if I put this thread in the wrong section!
