I can't seem to understand what's the difference when you see C3 and C#3 or Cb3. Could someone tell me where they are located on the staff & treble and position on the keyboard. Thanks

Well a flat (b) is a halfstep lower than a regular note and a sharp (#) is a halfstep higher than a regular note. They'll remain on the same place on the staff, they'll just have a b or # next to the note.

The 3 is the pitch of the note. The lower the number, the lower the note is.
Just in case you didn't know. :)

C3 is the 2nd space of bass-clef. Middle C is known as C4.
