I dunno if there are any Motion City Sountrack fans here on MX, but I thought I'd ask here, just in case. Has anyone bought the deluxe release of Commit this to Memory? I've been thinking about picking it up, since it was released yesterday, but i'm not sure if it's worth the money for one extra song and a DVD. Does anyone have it and recommend it? thanks.

If your a fan off the band, and you dont have the cd i would buy it. But i think if you already have the CD the new one is a bit of a waste of time, for a extra track.

I will admit ive baught CD's twice before though :-/

I regret buying this CD in the first place to be honest. One extra track and a DVD isn't really enough to make me want to buy it again.

I agree with Butler though. Releasing an album one year and then 6 months later slapping a DVD and some b-sides on it and calling it a deluxe edition is just pathetic.

The only decent deluxe edition I've seen is the Crimson one, thats like an whole extra CD.

actually, it's closer to a year, rather than 6 months....:p but i know what you mean. I'd really like to just get the DVD, just for the filmed concert though... maybe they'll release it separatly soon? I guess i'll check on ebay first though, to see if I can just get the whole thing on the cheap.
