When I was first starting to write I promised myself I wouldn't write a shlocky love song. Or love songs, period. But I also promised myself not to edit what I create for self-image, so the first promise went out the window.
As for whether its shlocky, well, it is in parts, but lots of people can forgive that part, cause unfortunately, at the time, it was written from a truth.

I thought it was great. Excellent blend between the bass, piano, guitar and vocals. Though I did get a little confused between all the different vocalists. One of the vocalists has a really shrill-froggy tone to his voice that makes him sound like Kermit the Frog, and he really stands out in an awkward way. It sounds like someone doing a fake opera parody voice... It's not so bad when he's in his chest voice, but when he goes high it sticks out like a sore thumb. Other than that I thought it was great.

thats sweet and kind of funny. re the diff vox, they're all me. And I take all credit and blame for the guitars, bass, keys as well. :)

its just a demo, and i'd be first to admit some of my background bleatings were space-fillers.
perhaps I'll remix with my new At3035 vox mic (unbelievable, also got a matching pair of B5's for guitars this week, will be making some finer demos shortly).
