i dont really like using any of the free hosts. Freewebs is good with customers. I'm not a huge angelfire fan. Everybody in the world uses Geocities. All of the various pricing is pretty much the same. Just do whichever you feel is easiest.

visit my friend... he's a web designer... young and really good. i know you dont want to pay for somebody to make yours. but check him out

Just host videos on a Youtube account and copy the code over so it streams on your website.

Brinkster is still the best in my opinion.

Does anyone know of a free place that I can have a website and host my podcast all in one. I would need ~50mb+ of storage for now.

after, you can get yourself a better domain name by getting a .tk one, which is free. it is a shortcut to your freewebs, or whatever, site but with the domain name you want. though i think it only works for the index.html page

www.freewebs.com is excellent. I use it for all of my websites. It has 25mb upload I think.

Could you explain how to get the dot TK link to go to my site? I thought I put it in the URL but it goes to a dot TK site instead of my freewebs.

I use talkhost

It's free hosting, but you have

a) post 15 times on their forums
b) maintain a 20% activity (which is explained in the forums)

the more you post, the more space and bandwidth you get for free.

There are no ads, but it isn't very user friendly.
