Is it possible to do? I don't have an HDTV and the TVs we have are crappy so if I get a 360 I'd want to connect it to my moniter.. is it possible and what would I need?

I bet if you get some kind of adapter for it to hook up to the monitor. I know my video card can get feed from my Gamecube, but I don't know how to get it full screen.

Now that zakath has his answer, is there a way I can go from my laptop to my tv?
Would the same cable work?

If your TV has a DVI input or if you get some type of converter.

You might need a DVI to VGA connector for your TV like I did, but it should work fine.

Maybe not. If your TV has a VGA input then you can just use a VGA lead from a regular PC monitor.

Sweet, thanks. What about audio though? My soundcard has a spot for digital input.. does the 360 come with the required wire or would I have to get that too?

Edit: My friend said he has that wire but he doesn't know where to plug it in because it has a male end.. but he hasn't opened it yet so I don't know if he knows what he's talking about..

I'm not too knowledgeable about the audio part, I just use computer speakers plugged into http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006U3ACY/002-8252775-4310452?v=glance&n=172282 for 5.1's of course.

As for your friend, if he bought the vga cables by microsoft, it has a male to male adapter included.
