It's better. More pop-punk.

Matt?

only if it's just a recording of him saying "please stop hitting me!"

I guess as long as I don't pay for it its fine.

I'm in the middle of the last song, but I think I can sum it up how I feel: the only good songs on this album are the ones that everyone has heard before.

"Work In Progress" and "A Book Misread" are pretty wack.

Listen 1 = huge disappointment. I'd be very content listening to the leaked Mutiny! tracks from a few weeks ago, the demos, and the EP as opposed to this.

I would like it.

If it's that nameless leaked demo or whatever no. If it's the final releas, YSI it son.

BuddyBigsby
06-16-2006, 10:51 PM
It has been YSI'd elsewhere but I'm too lazy to get it.

Let's Chop Cats!
06-16-2006, 10:52 PM
If it's final someone YSI it again so I can get it after work tomorrow.

Don't thank me, I figured it would be on B9 somewhere, so I went and found the link, haha.

I'm listening to it now and I'm not impressed. A couple of the songs the vocals seem way out of place.

Special Brew

I like it, but it's way poppier than the old stuff.

Angry Balled Fists!
06-17-2006, 06:02 AM
I like this, This Very Moment is my favourite song.

TakeWarning
06-17-2006, 06:16 AM
I've heard This very Moment too many times.

Special Brew

I really like "This Song Is Definately Not About A Girl". My favorite, so far.

Angry Balled Fists!
06-17-2006, 07:32 AM
Actualy, this version of This Very Moment is slower and not as good.

Work in Progress and To Be Continued...are great tracks.

I'm into this in a big way. But then i've got a total on for anything vaguely pop punk right now.

DFelon204409

My two favorites on the demo EP are "Goonies..." and "Latch Key" and I feel that this CD takes the style of the other tracks and expands on that.

JACK!
06-18-2006, 02:14 PM
'How About No Scott?' is still their best song by far.

DFelon204409
06-18-2006, 02:18 PM
How about no, Scott.

I was so mad when I listened to this. Maybe it will grow on me?

Edit: their demo was so good this is truely mutiny of sorts.

NewKindofArmy03
06-18-2006, 09:21 PM
Upon further listening, I actually like this.

Except "An Old Book Misread" is awful and i'm not big on "This song is Definately Not About A Girl"

Not really...

Special Brew
06-19-2006, 03:06 PM
Not really...
Yes it does. The demo had more melodic hardcore sound, and the album went in a more pop-punk direction, when people expected them to stay closer to hardcore.

So pop punky. I like it.

i enjoy it in more of a pop punk way. the songs are incredibly catchy. and it s'hits on the so called 'hardcore' style of NFGs catalyst, from a great great height. all in all, mutiny is a fun blend.
