New album came out!

This band is absolutely amazing. Think third wave ska, but not crappy. Spastic, fast, catchy, insane ska/punk with plenty of synthesizer work, and a couple acoustic songs here and there. Their ability to switch from so many styles in a single song is pretty great and impressive. It's basically just one guy From Arrogant Sons Of Bitches with some guest people coming in for some songs.

And all of their stuff is available on their site: www.bombthemusicindustry.com
They work off donations, and really their ethics are just an added bonus to the awesomeness of their music.

Favorite third wave ska for sure. Coming right before Streetlight Manifesto.

Some of their best songs are Pike St. - Park Slope, Syke! Life Is Awesome!, FREEEEEEEE BIRRRRRRD, Future 86, Even Winning Feels Bad, King Of Minneapolis Pts III & IV, and Dude Get With The Program.

I think it might be their best work. Still needs a few more listens to confirm though.

Overall I like it, but it does has some weak tracks, which his first two albums don't have.

If he could sing, he might actually destroy the music industry...

My new dream is to become part of Quote Unquote Records

Regardless what you think of his music, you cannot have a problem with his touring/recording mentality.

I'm pretty sure it's one guy and a laptop mattchew.

No, it's a full band, that laptop dealy was for one tour.

In case you didn't notice from my av, I love this band. The new album is great, better than To Leave or Die, and maybe on a par with Album Minus Band. Some of the songs are really strong like the indie-tinged King Of Minneapolis parts 1 and 2, and Sorry Brooklyn, Dancing Won't Solve Anything maybe their strongest song they've done. I'd recommend getting the other two albums too, as they have some great songs there, ranging from the noisecore influenced I'm Too Coooooooooooool for Music and Happy Anterrabae Day, the best song about going to shows ever.

No, he records most stuff with a laptop and his instruments.

Then he tours with whoever he can find among a dozen bands.

Ah, thought he meant live, yeah, It's just Jeff and his laptop.

Someone called them a band, if were gonna be pedantic, the correct term, going by their myspace, would be collective. :naughty:

They were my favourite band for a very very long time but then I stopped listening to them at all and then just now I've had them stuck in my head all day. The new album is great news, I can't wait to hear it.

Urgh, they'll never come to the UK...

Its a band i like but am scared to show my friends. The new cd is fun but some songs are annoying with the vocals and a bit over the top.
