haven't been here in a while.

anyway, i was wondering if anyone else here likes them, and also i'm having trouble figuring out how to get that sound in the opening riff of 'romantic rights'. you know,

JAH JAH ch-ch-chhh-ch-ch JAH JAH ch-ch-chhh-ch-ch

any thoughts?

i love DFA1979, saw them at Leeds last year and was blown away

First of all you need a pick and a distortion pedal. Pick the first note, hit two muted notes, and then scape your pick along the string three times. That's it, really.
