I've been playing for about 5 years, and I've had the occassional cramp. But now I've started a new job where i have to lift about 200+ pounds every 10 minutes for 12 hours. One day I decided to play bass after work and when I woke up my fingers were asleep and numb, and I couldn't make a fist. It's been asleep for about 3 days. This is really bothering me. Could I have Carpeltunnel? I've done alot of stretching and scale warm ups, up 30 minutes before practices and it only helps a bit. I have a battle of the bands coming up soon and I can't be ****ing up, any suggestions?

Look, I’m just a janitor, I don’t know much, but I do know this: You need surgery.

I was thinking the same thing, I'll get a doctor ASAP.
