Currently having a bit of an argument with one of my friends. The bassist from Lightning Bolt tunes to 5ths instead of 4ths right? once i get a definative answer, mods please feel free to close this.

yess definately true.. although if you want to play along to the cds then you will want to tune down half a step from cello tuning. i dont really know why he tuned like this but its just for the recordings and possibly not all of the songs but definately songs like assasins and crown of storms that uses open strings.

some of the songs ca nbe played in standard very easily like dracula mountain.
