In honor of me furiously listening to pop punk all week I wrote this review (http://sputnikmusic.com/review_7556) for All's Mass Nerder and made this thread to talk about tight bands from or who were most relevant in the 90s. Behold n00bs let's talk about feelings.

I recently had a religious experience relistening to No Use for a Name's Live in a Dive CD. I had chills in the car.

Everything Sucks is better than Milo in my opinion. Milo is just highly regarded because it's their first album and is practically what made pop-punk..

And NOFX have a few bad albums behind Pump The The Valuum (Which is awesome as well).

But everything else there wins. Hard.

I just much prefer Milo goes to college, not because it's more important.

I have everything Ribbed onwards, and i love it all up to PUTV everything onwards = average basically.

My guitar teacher used to jam with the guys from the Descendents.

Lagwagon owns, too. Hoss is such a good album. Joey Cape's the man.

That Blink-182 thread in hardcore brought back some memories. I actually went and listened to blink right after that.

True, but that album came out in 1982. I think Everything Sucks is the only record they put out in the 90's.

Yeah, I think you're right. They released a live album though in 1991, but that don't count.

Rumours are there will be both new ALL and Descendents albums this year. I doubt it on the last one though.

TBH i don't think i would enjoy the new Descendents album

Best Descendents song = Myage 'fo sho.
