So Our Band Recorded Something

Hi guys. Today we recorded a song we have had floating around for a few weeks. The drums are fake at the moment as the drummer couldn't make practice, and this is just a very rough sample so bare with us.

Any constructive criticism would be greatly apprieciated.

Oh yeah the drums go on for too long, we forgot to cut them out at the end.

I really don't like the sound of the guitar. Too screechy or whatever. The vocalist is a bit annoying too.

No offence, but I think you need to really brush up the song, the solo wasn't bad for a pop punk song, but the guitar didn't sound very nice.

Play around with amp settings and stuff. The drums are picked up nicely on the recording, nice and crisp. If the other instruments were that tidy, the song would be a million times better.

Ok thanks for crits. We didn't like the tones of guitar or bass either to be honest but as I said its just a rough version atm. I am also using my back up bass as my main one is broken. But enough of the excuses we will try getting the tones a little better when we go for a final version
