I think that may have been asked before. Is there a program that will convert tabs to sheet music because I have a hard time reading tabs?

some tab editors display sheet music as well.

But since your talking about drums, the only thing you can do is to download a Midi and read that, or transfer it to sheet music by hand.

i have tabtrax, and it works great.
if you look on the mxtabs drum tab front page, and scroll to the bottom, underneath the list of the most popular bands is a link to download tabtrax it says "want to hear this tab?" click that, then you can DL it
it costs $30 but i believe that its worth every penny. you can also make your own music and stuf, i love it, and recommend it 100%

...really?

I'm going to have to go look for that link, see what-all it's about.

And then, probably rip it off limewire because I suck and am a pirate. Arr.

Here's a thought. Try transcribing what you hear on the song and writing it by hand. You have to use an old fashioned implement called a pen. You'll find it's good practise.

I hate tabs, and even sheet music for learning some songs. Some harder songs sheet music is easier for some beats that you can't tell what's going on, but just listen to the song and play with it. The beat doesn't have to be and it shouldn't be the exact same as the song. Just be creative.

I do that for most songs but for my favourites Im a bit scared of not getting it 100% correct

Yeah you can test out tabtrax with the demo. I believe that is the best program to use...

Ahh, I see where your coming from. But who is to say the tabs are 100% correct. I would bet you that they aren't.

Anything I used to tab out would be 99.9% correct, just because that's the way I am.

Drum tabs aren't that difficult to understand, even the ones that are written like a 5 year old's letter to Santa... If you really have a difficult time, just listen to the song, compare what you think the tab says with what you hear, and write that out.
