okay, i want to make music simialr to that of mute math. but i dont knw the instrument the singer plays. is it a synth or keyboard? or keyboard synth? or keytar?

Sure looks like a keytar to me.

In reality, a keytar is just a keyboard you can hold like a guitar, so a keyboard would work just the same.

do you know where i can purchase a keytar? their arent on musicians friend or axe music. would you reccomend ebay for this type of thing?

I don't know anything about keytar's but there are a couple on ebay.

I'm sure MF has them. Look up keyboard controller, midi controller, or keyboard guitar. Keytar is a slang nickname for them, so you won't find it under that heading. In reality, a regular keyboard will do.
