I don't come to R&M much but I popped in and noticed there's no thread on Freak Kitchen, much to my horror.

So...who listens to the great band that is Freak Kitchen? I got all their albums off a friend recently and have really been getting into them. Mattias is a great geetarist, and I guess the rest of the band ain't bad either

So ITT discuss the awesomeness of Freak Kitchen

For anyone who doesn't know;

Freak Kitchen is a heavy metal, hard rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1992. Their outstanding technique usually makes people refer to their style as somewhat of a progressive metal or progressive rock band. Nevertheless, the power trio makes music suitable for everyone, with perfect musicianship and excellent taste.

I looooove this band. Mattias is one of my favorite guitarists; He's definitely in my top 5.

Yeah, Freak Kitchen is great and they should definitely be more well known.

I like the sense of humour as well.

I'm pretty sure they're fairly well known over in Europe, but here in Oz and in America they arn't.

I was introduced to Freak Kitchen about three years ago thanks to Dementia Radio, and they are awesome. I've only heard Move, though, and a few selected tracks from earlier albums...

You should get Appetizer, that's probably my favourite album as all the songs a great.

I would upload it for ya but have to wait until my bandwith resets tonight. Try getting it off Soulseek, I'll be on there from Tuesday.
