Hi again... sorry I couldn't help posting another thread
Just listened to Lordi's Hard Rock Hallelujah. Seems its a big thing in Europe as its like Finland's official entry to the Eurovision 2006. They're costumes kick some serious a** but the music was a little disappointing. It was like pop meets power metal ( how did they do that?... they turned synth way up and guitars lower... and even had a singing chorus behind it... :amaze: ). Its hard rock supposedly but I swear when the opening riff comes through the speakers I could almost hear "Here I am... Rock you like a hurricane". How is Lordi's other work? Like are they a worthy listen?....

cheers :chug:

Actually the band is a joke and this song imo is one of their worst. You should check some of there songs on youtube theyre probs heavier as well imo.

Stay away from this band. They are satanic. I mean, look at those constumes. They are made by the devil.

Ive got a couple of their albums. I gotta say, theyre pretty good at making riffs, but the songs themselves arent upto much.

The Lead singer has the worst voice I've ever heard. When he hits the high note in Hardrock Hallelujah he fuks up. He truly should die.

Did he beat you in that competition or something? You seem to have a personal grudge against these guys.

I'm going to grab an album by them tonight, see if they're any good.

i got all 3 albums of theirs through the Daily Upload, pretty good stuff, although a bit stupid. Blood Red Sandman, Chainsaw Buffet, and Bringing Back The Ball To Rock are my favourite songs.

Eurovision is a joke competition. Hardly anyone takes it seriously.

And yet it looks and sounds like a winning combination. 'Hard Rock Hallelujah' is not only the most rocking Eurovision entry since ABBA’s 'Waterloo' back in 1974, it also has one of the catchiest tunes. And Lordi put on the best show since Björn Ulvaeus rocked his star-shaped guitar 32 years ago: not only does the band put the rock back into the Eurovision, it also puts the fun back into rock.

Really?!!!

Agree with person above me ^^^ aka Hitler

And theyre nothing like Murderdolls; Murderdolls actually think theyre good whereas Lordi are simply in it to entertain

my favourite track of theirs would have to be 'devil is a loser'

Good times . . .
